Lemang

Lemang is my most favourite dish during Hari Raya or Eid.

Lemang is a traditional glutinous rice food and dish that is always found and served during the Eid. Commonly it is served with chicken or beef rendang.

It is made of glutinous rice and coconut milk and cooked in a hollowed bamboo stick lined with banana leaves in order to prevent the rice from sticking to the bamboo.

Saya melemang 5 kilo. Tak cukup buluh. Raya aji nanti saya melemang juga, jangan lupa datang.

budak ammosham tu nak kepala lemang, lembik tapi lemak. Ada orang suka buntutnya, kental tapi sedap.
