stray cat
I'm so tired of running and sick with despair.
My body is aching and filled with such pain;
And dear God I pray, as I run in the rain
That someone will love me and give me a home,
A warm cozy bed, and food of my own.
My last owner left me alone in the yard...
I watched as they moved, and God that was hard.
So I waited a while, then went on my way
To rummage in garbage and live as a stray.

bunga raya
Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is the national flower of Malaysia, called Bunga Raya in Malay. Introduced into the Malay Peninsula in the 12th Century, it was nominated as the national flower in the year 1958 by the Ministry of Agriculture amongst a few other flowers, namely ylang ylang, jasmine, lotus, rose, magnolia, and bunga tanjung. On 28 July 1960, it was declared by the government of Malaysia that the hibiscus would be the national flower.
The word bunga in Malay means "flower", whilst raya in Malay means "celebration". The hibiscus is literally known as the "celebration flower" in Malay. The red of the petals symbolizes the courage, life, and rapid growth of the Malaysian, and the five petals represent the five Rukun Negara of Malaysia. The flower can be found imprinted on the notes and coins of the Malaysian ringgit - mr.wiki

the epiphyte speaks
Every climb has a mid way point.
The tiny notch where you rest your walking stick
and search the air. Where strange flowers
give you breath as they breathe.
There is that place you choose
to rest your raw skin. Look beneath and wonder
what remains. What lives on after this.
Every tree has a secret love spot. Every climber
has a weakness. My home is just there, just
before you lose hope. Your hands might mistake
me for the canopy. That I am the lightness
you imagine. I might be that. And you might
survive on air too.
An epiphyte is a plant that grows on another plant, using it for support but NOT as a parasite.

dead tree part ii
Through the passing days
Drought, stormy, cloudy and rain
By that lonely lane, he stand tall
And make hey!!!
Notice not by who passed by
In his silent and wisdom
Thousand stories kept untold
Death!
May come..to the ground he shall fall
Sorrow must not count
Cause the beauty and his bold
Remain linger much more tomorrow!!!
